TERM 2 WEEK 1

WELCOME BACK TO TERM 2

The Pomaria Values we are focusing on this term are;

Obedience and Consideration.

Our Inquiry Focus is - APARUA - Learning Patnerships.

Our first week back was very busy as we have been learning all about ANZAC - what happened and the importance of commemorating 100 years since Gallipoli.

We visited Te Puna where our lovely Miss Heather (librarian) had set up an awesome display with the support of Swanson RSA.

We read books about Gallipoli and made beautiful Poppies to wear as a sign of respect to the assembly. To help us remember all the men and women that had died for our country.

We also had a great time making ANZAC biscuits with Room 11 and Mrs McCormack. The best part was getting to eat them!!!!
